IGNITX TURNKEY SOLUTION IMPLEMENTATION AT EUROPEAN YOUTH OLYMPIC FESTIVAL SKOPJE 2025

The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) Skopje 2025 marked the successful implementation of IGNITX’s Safeguarding Turnkey Solution – a comprehensive, real-time safeguarding framework tailored to protect all event participants. For the first time, the newly developed ISAY system was fully integrated into a multisport event, enabling confidential reporting, rapid access to safeguarding information, and immediate action when concerns arose. From early planning to on-the-ground delivery, safeguarding was embedded not as a support service, but as a foundational value of the Festival.
What we did
- Collaborated with the Organising Committee and European Olympic Committees to establish a Safeguarding Unit.
- Treated prevention, education, and timely response as core pillars of delivery.
- Deployed the ISAY system as the central hub for safeguarding processes.
- Implemented awareness campaigns, posters, and outreach materials across all venues.
- Ensured delegation compliance through the appointment of Delegation Safeguarding Points of Contact (DSPCs).
- Secured mandatory acknowledgement of the Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- Delivered structured training and education initiatives for athletes, coaches, staff, and volunteers.
Results
- 100% of delegations appointed a Safeguarding Point of Contact (DSPC).
- ISAY system fully deployed and integrated into the official EYOF website.
- Safeguarding awareness campaign implemented across all non-competition venues.
- 77% of athletes and 81% of coaches/NOC officials confirmed agreement with the Safeguarding Code of Conduct.
- 100% of reported cases were managed promptly, with strict confidentiality and impartiality.
